Our Board Members
The Library Foundation of Needham introduced its new slate of officers and board members at its September 25, 2024 meeting. The new officers are Kathy D’Addesio, president; Jim Reulbach, vice-president; Steve Shusterman, treasurer and Kathy Whitney, clerk. The Board members include JB Hruska, Louise Miller, Mike O’Leary, Leslie Renzulli, Joan Smith, Debra Steele, Sue Young, and Jay Fialkov, Library Trustee Liaison.
Our History
The Library Foundation of Needham (LFN) was founded by the Trustees of the Needham Free Public Library. Its purpose is to be a permanent fundraising arm and managed endowment for the library which can provide funds for library materials and services not in the town-funded budget. A library trustee sits on the LFN board of directors to liason between the trustees and the LFN.
Our Misson

Encourage community investment through individual and corporate giving for Library programs and services not covered by the town-funded budget.

Coordinate fundraising and promotional activities to increase the endowment and responsibly manage and grow the funds.

Grant funds to library departments based on their proposals for programs, materials, and facility enhancements.
